Sometimes it feels as if our grief swallows our growth. But it’s still important to make time for it. Otherwise it remains in the background. This particular image is chilling in its truth because of a recurring dream I’ve had since childhood.

January’s theme is stillness. Stillness gives way to awareness. And with any luck, self-discovery. This is my hope. My “prayer” for the beginning of this journey/
